Joseph R. Bronson
Mr. Bronson has served as a director since May 2014. He is currently Principal of The Bronson Group, LLC, which provides financial and operational consulting services, and is a Strategic Advisor to Cowen & Co., a New York City-based investment bank. He also serves on the boards of directors of Maxim Integrated Products, Inc., Jacobs Engineering Group Inc., SDC Materials, and Ryan Herco Flow Solutions. Before Cowen & Co., he was affiliated with GCA Savvian, LLC, as an Advisory Director from May 2011 to March 2014. Prior to that, Mr. Bronson was the Chief Executive Officer of Silicon Valley Technology Corporation and the President and Chief Operating Officer of Sanmina-SCI. Mr. Bronson holds a B.S. in accounting from Fairfield University and an M.B.A. in financial management from The University of Connecticut.
Nancy Erba
Ms. Erba most recently served as Chief Financial Officer at Immersion Corporation, a provider of touch feedback technology known as haptics, from September 2016 to March 2019. From November 2003 to October 2015, she served in various capacities at Seagate Technology, a provider of storage solutions, including Vice President of Finance, Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis, Division CFO, Vice President of Business Operations and Vice President of Corporate Development. Ms. Erba holds a Bachelor’s Degree in mathematics from Smith College and an MBA from Baylor University.
Michael B. Gustafson
Mr. Gustafson is currently Executive Chairman and Independent Board Director at Druva, Inc., a cloud data protection and management company, and a member of the Board of Directors of Everspin Technologies, Inc. a Nasdaq-listed memory solutions company, Reltio Inc., a cloud-based master data management company, and Matterport, Inc., an immersive 3D media company. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President at Western Digital Corporation, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Virident Systems, Inc., Senior Vice President and General Manager of File & Content Business at Hitachi Data Systems, and Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of BlueArc Corporation. Mr. Gustafson received his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Washington University in St. Louis.
Professor Marco Iansiti
Marco Iansiti, Ph.D. has been a member of the Board of Directors since November 2016. He currently serves as the David Sarnoff Professor of Business Administration and heads the Technology and Operations Management Unit and the Digital Initiative at Harvard Business School, where he has taught for twenty-six years. Professor Iansiti is also currently the chairman of the board of directors of Keystone Strategy Inc., a consulting firm he co-founded, and a member of the board of directors at Module Q, a personal resource management application. Previously, he was a member of the boards of AltX, a data platform and marketplace for alternative investments, and Leonardo-Finmeccanica SpA, a global high-tech company in the aerospace, defense, and security sectors. He holds an A.B. and Ph.D. in Physics from Harvard University.
Dr. John K. Kibarian
John K. Kibarian, Ph.D., one of our founders, has served as President since November 1991 and has served as our Chief Executive Officer since July 2000. Mr. Kibarian has served as a director since December 1992. Mr. Kibarian received a BS ECE, MS ECE and Ph.D. ECE from Carnegie Mellon University.
Dr. Kimon Michaels
Kimon Michaels, Ph.D., one of our founders, has served as Vice President, Design for Manufacturability since June 2007. Dr. Michaels served as Vice President, Field Operations for Manufacturing Process Solutions from January 2006 through May 2007, and has been a Director since November 1995. From March 1993 through December 2005, he served in various vice presidential capacities. He also served as Chief Financial Officer from November 1995 to July 1998. Dr. Michaels received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, an M.S. E.C.E. and a Ph.D. E.C.E. from Carnegie Mellon University.
Dr. Gerald Yin
Gerald Yin, Ph.D. has served as AMEC Inc.’s chairman and CEO since the company was founded in 2004. Prior to founding AMEC, Dr. Yin held a variety of executive positions at Applied Materials from 1991-2004, including corporate vice president and general manager of Etch Product business group and chief technology officer of Applied Materials Asia. From 1986 to 1991, he led the Etch technology development and introduction initiatives for several key products at Lam Research. Before that, he served in central technology development at Intel Corporation. Dr. Yin received a BS in chemical physics from the University of Science and Technology, China and a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from University of California (UCLA). He holds 86 U.S. patents and more than 200 foreign patents.
Shuo Zhang
Ms. Zhang currently serves on the board at several public and private companies, including Silicon on Insulator Technologies SA, Telink Semiconductor, and Grid Dynamics. She is also actively involved with private venture capital firms in the Silicon Valley. From December 2007 to September 2015, Ms. Zhang served in various senior management capacities at Cypress Semiconductor, including corporate development, general management and worldwide mobile sales. Prior to Cypress, Ms. Zhang served in many different product marketing and sales management roles in Silicon Light Machines, Agilent Technologies, Altera Corporation, and LSI Corporation. Ms. Zhang holds a Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering from Zhejiang University and a Master of Science in material science and mechanics from Penn State University.
